American Idol's Top 12 was announced on this past week's episode which ended in an emotion-packed episode (or more like cryfest) and was full of more bizarre Paula behavior. The dramatic cuts slowly revealed the unlucky contestants that America didn't put through - Kady Malloy, Asiah Epperson, Luke Menard and Danny Noriega.

Introducing David Archuleta of American Idol Season 7

David Archuleta, the boy with the amazing voice who sang for Kelly Clarkson when he was only thirteen, auditioned in San Diego and a strong contender on American Idol, season 7. Archuleta is only 17 years old, grew up in Murray, UT and started singing in front of people when he was 10. He attributes her musical influences to classics like Natalie Cole, Stevie Wonder, Kirk Franklin, and Bryan Adams.

Archuleta is ahead of his time with the amount of talent and maturity he has! With his natural Honduran good looks, ambition and amazing natural talent, David has what it takes to make it far and has a real shot of winning this competition.
